PartyPoker is running a temporary jackpot bonus it calls the Genius Promotion--probably because you need to be a genius to understand the rules.
All you really need to know to win one of the 200 bonus jackpots being awarded during the Genius Promotion is play as often as you can in Party Poker's cash ring games with blinds equal to or higher than $0.10-$0.25 (or $0.25-$0.50 for Limit games). You can let PartyPoker figure out the rest.
If you're interested, though, here's how it works:
• Every 50,000th hand, PartyPoker awards a bonus to be split equally between all the players in that hand
• The bonus is equal to the amount of that hand's final pot times itself (or "squared" for you math geniuses)
• Any bonus amount totaling less than $100 will be raised to $100
• Any bonus amount exceeding $5,000 will be lowered to $5,000
• The winner of the hand will still win the amount of the original pot
The Genius Promotion is reminiscent of PartyPoker's previous Million Dollar Hand Promotions, and indeed the Genius Promotion runs out at the 10-millionth hand, which will be worth a guaranteed $100,000 bonus. The 10-thousandth hand, incidentally, will have a guaranteed $10,00 bonus. |
